Sleepless in Illinois

Yup that is me. I am so restless. I usually try to sleep somewhere other than our bedroom if I get up because Dan needs his sleep. I got up at 1:30 got sick around 2:30 didn't get back asleep until 4. Got up for work at 6 :(
I just can't get comfortable when I sleep... I toss and turn..
I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow...not that I will be able to :)

8 weeks!

Baby's now the size of a raspberry!
Baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs, and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.

Total weight gain: -2 lbs :) as of last week....
Maternity clothes? nope
Sleep: not so much. can't get comfy
Best moment this week: Telling one of my best friends
Movement: It's going to be awhile
Gender: Dan swears Boy. Larissa says Girl.
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: being able to eat out.
What I am looking forward to: the doppler in 3 weeks
Weekly Wisdom: Don't order meat. You can't handle it.
Milestones: Had morning sickness at night :/

On M/c and being pregnant

In my first pregnancy I wasn't in a hurry to tell anyone, I figured all in due time. Plus I just had that feeling you know? Now, I want to tell the world and buy car seats and onesies. I think this is why:
I should be 35 weeks along right now...I Would be buying these things in my first pregnancy and of course, everyone would know I was pregnant. I think when I got pregnant again, part of me wanted to jump right in where I left off and continue my old pregnancy.
That is, of course, not the way it is. This is a new baby, a new pregnancy, and of course our little one deserves his/her very own attention. Not that of my lost little one.
So I am going to focus on taking things slow and enjoying where I am at in this pregnancy and love my little one each and every day.

Dear Water,
I thought you were my friend. You have made my morning miserable. You are coming out the wrong end. The way I am peeing lately, you could have came out the right end soon enough. Please...lay off.

My 1st Ultrasound AKA Welcome Baby F!

Houston, We have a heartbeat! Going stead at 138 bpm measuring 7w1d. I am over the moon. I can't believe this. I have another appt in 4 weeks, which is the biggie for me. It will be the most pregnant I have been. But this is definitely a step in the right direction.

So Here is my debut of Baby F: (the big part on the bottoms is the head )

In 2 days

I will have my ultrasound. Geesh. You feel like time crawls, and then you look back and realize it really does move quite fast. That is where I am at right now.
I was nauseous all weekend, and slept a lot. nothing else new to report.
