Finally a new Belly Pic

32 (&1/2) weeks...

32 weeks!

Baby's now the size of a squash!
Ready or not, baby's getting ready to emerge. She's probably in the head-down position by now, with her bottom facing up. This is the comfiest way for her body to fit in your increasingly cramped womb and will make her eventual exit (only a few months away now!) much easier. (If she's still head-up, don't panic -- there's still time for a flip before birth.)

How far along? 32 weeks
Total weight gain:+24 ...Yikes.
Maternity clothes? Yup..shirts are starting to pucker out at bottom
Sleep: Still so sleepy All.The.Time.
Best moment this week:My Baby Shower!!
Movement:Yup More rocks and rolls it seems.
Gender:All Girl.
Belly Button in or out? Out.
What I miss: My clothes...
What I am looking forward to: hopefully getting the dresser in soon!
Weekly Wisdom: Baby Kate and I are so loved by so many.
Milestones: 2 months left!!!!

My Shower was Saturday!

I had a fantastic shower...Here are some pictures... One cool thing they did as favors was they potted bulbs and put a little sign in each pot that as Baby Kate is growing so it the bulb and by the time she is due there should be a beautiful flower...and they are a surprise what they are...

Ok, I am going to gripe...

I know people of are excited about my baby...I love that they are looking forward to her arrival..and maybe this is selfish...
But my oldest niece is insistent that she will pick up my other niece and come over the hospital as soon as she finds out I am over there...skipping school even...
WILL YOU JUST WAIT UNTIL I HAVE THE BABY?!?!?!
I do not need an audience, nor will I want one. This is a personal choice, but I want a select few people at the hospital as I am labo...
It drives me nuts.
The hospital I go to has a "sacred hour" right after birth where it is time for just you and your hustband to get to know your baby and bond and try breastfeeding..when we are ready, we get cleaned up, baby gets bathed, and people come in. So I think it is okay if my nieces just wait until the baby is born before they rush over.
Also, it irks me because my one niece has never really liked me until I got pregnant....
Oh well, vent over...just needed to get it out.

2 ups and 2 downs for Friday

2 Ups:
1) My shower is tomorrow. I am so excited to see everyone and celebrate my baby. It is just getting so real! My baby will be here in less than 9 weeks!
2) We got the Pack N Play set up tonight. I know I had plenty of time for this, but why let things sit in the box...I just like looking at it put together.

2 Downs:
1) My shirt I wanted to wear for my shower didn't come in. I ordered it via ebay on 2/10/10 and it still isn't in...I thought it would be plenty of time to get here :*(
2) I just want to curl up and go to sleep....well that isn't necessarily a bad thing..

Attack of the bills.

I am officially overwhelmed...
This is what we got in the mail in one night...
L & D estimate(our portion) $1242.00
Credit Card bill $1000.00 (expected)
Dans chiropractic estimate over $300.

Oh My God. How we will get this all paid?!?!?!

My OB office never mentioned pre-payment ( I guess I should have asked) So I have two months to pay the full amount..
We had no idea Dan's chiro bills would be that high but apparently he has to hit his deductible. I know I can be stupid and not think about this stuff.
But Hell. That's a lot of cash.

Not to mention our dresser could be done at any time, in which we pay the remaining balance of like $800.00

I am just a little financially stressed out right now. I know it should all be expected but for some reason I didn't expect it all at once. Oh well.

Baby's going through major brain and nerve development these days. His irises now react to light, and all five senses are in working order. (He won't pick up anything from his nose until after birth, though -- smell is transferred through air, not amniotic fluid.)

Sleep: I have been tired a lot and sleeping like a log the last couple of days...
Best moment this week: Seeing my little girl and her chubby little cheeks.
Movement:Yup..the u/s tech called her "antsy"
Gender:Team Pink! Verified.

What I miss: breathing..
What I am looking forward to: Shower this weekend!
Weekly Wisdom: Savoring each moment...
Milestones:Next time I will see baby she will be in my arms (assuming there are no complications here on out)
